Volunteer with Mother Africa

Volunteer at Events
Mother Africa hosts and partners on many events throughout the calendar year, from fundraisers to our Cultural Evening Celebration each fall. We can always use help with set up/clean up, promotion, creating materials, and more. Check out our Calendar of Events and contact us to find the next opportunity!
Sister Saturdays
For a year, Mother Africa volunteers joined with community members who wanted to practice their English at our Center for African Women. Together, we worked on driver's test materials, practiced basic grocery shopping vocabulary, and got to know one another. This program is currently on pause but look for more information soon!
Leadership Opportunities
We are here to provide resources to the amazing women in our community, and we love to lift up natural leaders. Leadership opportunities range from running women's groups to serving as translator, organizing events to speaking at events. There's something for everyone!
